1. What OJOO is

OJOO is an AI-powered job search platform available at app.ojoo.com, created and operated by Peter Symons, based in Belgium. It automates parts of the job search process by connecting to services you already use: Google (Gmail and Calendar) and LinkedIn. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts & eligibility

To use OJOO you must be at least 16 years old, provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and not share your account with others. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact privacy@ojoo.com immediately.

3. Google account integration (Gmail & Calendar)

OJOO connects to Google services via OAuth 2.0. When you connect your Google account you:

Authorise OJOO to create email drafts in your Gmail and manage events in your Google Calendar, as described in our Privacy Policy
Understand that email drafts and calendar events created by OJOO are actions taken on your behalf and attributable to your Google account
Accept responsibility for reviewing any AI-generated content before you send or confirm it
Can revoke access at any time via Google Account Permissions

OJOO creates Gmail drafts and Calendar events using your Google account. Nothing is sent or confirmed without your action. Always review AI-generated content before sending.

Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We never use your Google data for advertising or any purpose beyond operating OJOO.

4. LinkedIn scanning

Job scanning uses your own Chrome browser session via the Claude in Chrome extension. Scanning uses your real LinkedIn account — we do not receive your LinkedIn credentials. LinkedIn may apply rate limits or show CAPTCHAs; we are not responsible for any action LinkedIn takes on your account. Use scanning responsibly and within LinkedIn's User Agreement.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use OJOO to:

Send spam, phishing emails, or unsolicited bulk messages via Gmail
Misrepresent your qualifications or fabricate experience in applications
Violate the terms of service of any connected platform (Google, LinkedIn, Anthropic)
Perform automated mass applications in a way that violates platform policies
Attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise OJOO's infrastructure
Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. AI-generated content

OJOO uses Claude (by Anthropic) to generate CVs, cover letters, email drafts, interview prep, and scoring analysis. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies — always treat output as a draft and review before submitting to employers. You are solely responsible for any content you send or submit. OJOO is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or career advice.

7. Licence

OJOO grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for your own job search. You may not resell or sublicence access, use OJOO to build a competing product, or use it on behalf of multiple users without a team agreement.

8. Intellectual property

The OJOO name, logo, website, and application are the intellectual property of Peter Symons / ojoo. Content you create using OJOO (CVs, letters, notes) belongs to you. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it to provide the service.

9. Payment & subscriptions

Paid subscription fees are charged in advance on the applicable billing cycle. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. You can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the paid period.

10. Termination

Delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing privacy@ojoo.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. No warranty

OJOO is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your situation. LinkedIn scanning is best-effort — rate limits and platform changes can affect results.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peter Symons / ojoo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of OJOO, including loss of job opportunities, inaccurate AI output, service interruptions, or actions taken by third-party platforms on your accounts. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

Material changes will be communicated by email and by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
